Sinkland Farms offers two experiential education packages, perfect for Pre–2nd Grade groups — but equally fun for special needs groups of all ages, preschoolers, and even adult community groups looking for a lighthearted fall adventure. These experiences are offerend Tuesday-Friday in October.
1. Fall Harvest Experience
- 5 interactive learning stations: Pumpkin Life Cycle Story, Corn Maze, Barnyard Animal Fun, The Story of Farming, and Bee Learning.
- Every child picks a small pumpkin to take home after a hayride to the pumpkin patch.
- Teachers receive a large pumpkin for classroom learning.
2. Harvest Play Experience
- 2 engaging stations: Pumpkin Life Cycle Story and Barnyard Animal Fun.
- Extra time to enjoy the Farm Playground.
- Includes the hayride and pumpkin picking.
Both experiences last 1.5–2 hours and cost just $10 per child. Groups can also bring snacks or lunch to enjoy for an additional 20–30 minutes on the farm.
At Sinkland Farms, we are dedicated to offering an experiential learning environment like no other. As an Agriculture Center for Educational and Experiential Development (Sinkland CEED), a 501(c)(3) organization, we proudly serve our community by hosting over 100 schools and welcoming more than 8,000 children each year for educational field trips. We believe in the power of education and treasure the opportunity to give back to our community through these immersive experiences. At Sinkland Farms, we understand the critical role agri-tourism plays in fostering sustainable change—not just within the agriculture industry, but in the broader community as well. By connecting young minds with the land, we aim to cultivate a deeper appreciation for agriculture and inspire the next generation to engage with the world around them in meaningful ways.
