Experience Dreamscapes at Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech

A free exhibit showcasing imaginative works by Craig County High School student artists.

If you’re looking for a meaningful, family-friendly outing this month, here’s a wonderful opportunity to support local students and spark a little imagination along the way. Young Artists: Dreamscapes is a special exhibition featuring dream-inspired artwork created by Craig County High School students, presented at the Center for the Arts at Virginia Tech.

Hosted in the Ruth C. Horton Gallery, this free exhibit runs from Thursday, December 4 through Saturday, December 20, 2025. Families are encouraged to stop by, wander the gallery together, and enjoy a closer look at the incredible creativity coming from young artists in our region.

Opening Reception

Kick off the exhibit with an evening reception where you can meet the student artists, chat with teachers and coordinators, and celebrate this collaborative showcase of imagination and skill.

About the Exhibition

Young Artists: Dreamscapes is a creative partnership coordinated by:

  • Sierra Frazier, Art Teacher, Craig County High School

Their guidance and support have helped students bring their dream-inspired pieces to life, resulting in an exhibit filled with curiosity, color, and heartfelt expression.
